MALLOY PREACHES TO THE CHOIR AND THEY SING

Gov. Dannel Malloy, fresh off his agreement with state labor union negotiators that he says will save the state $1.6 million dollars over the next two years, was in his glory in a rousing speech to fellow Democrats at the Jefferson-Jackson-Bailey dinner Monday night—the biggest fundraising event of the year for the state party.

Malloy reiterated his support for labor and the right to organize, once again going against the grain of national trends.
