The gubernatorial campaign of Greenwich millionaire Ned Lamont seems to be in disarray or at least, in somewhat of a panic mode. Reports surfaced from Stamford last week that a film crew was set up in front of the home of Lamont’s rival for the Democratic nomination, Dan Malloy. After word got around about the mysterious film crew, a Lamont campaign staffer admitted they have been doing some filming in Stamford. The Shad feels a nasty and negative campaign advertisement coming.

Lamont seems to be reeling after his televised with Malloy last week in which Malloy cleaned his clock. A pretty funny editorial cartoon in the Hartford Courant playing on the World Cup and the debate made its way around the Internet. It may have sent Lamont into negative advertising mode.

The next Quinnipiac poll will be very interesting because of the debate and the fact that Malloy is up with two TV ads of his own after Lamont has spent millions of his own money on ads over the past few months.
