Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont launches another round of TV and radio ads today and they feature an endorsement from Ted Kennedy, Jr.—the son of the legendary Massachusetts Senator.
“What makes Connecticut so special to me are the people that I’ve met here, people like Ned and Annie [Lamont],” said Kennedy, a long-time state resident. “Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to become good friends with them and I know they share the same values I believe in—the values of hard work and giving back…he has what it takes to bring people together and move Connecticut forward.”
Kennedy’s name has come up in talk in political circles about who would succeed US Sens. Chris Dodd or Joseph Lieberman.
