MALLOY V. LAMONT (ON RADIO, IN TV SPOT)

Democratic candidate for governor Ned Lamont spent the first ten minutes of an interview on WNPR radio Friday dodging questions from host John Dankosky about why he refuses to debate rival Dan Malloy. Lamont kept answering that the better way to get his message out was through personal meetings and town hall-type events. Dankosky, rarely frustrated or flustered, seemed a bit annoyed saying, in essence, that it’s not about Lamont being comfortable getting his message out, it’s the voters who are entitled to a side-by-side comparison of those who want to be governor.

Now, in a new campaign ad, Malloy takes a shot at a comparison from his own point of view.
