MCMAHON WOULD NOT CUT TAXES FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS UNLESS THE WEALTHY GET THEIRS (OR HER’S) TOO

It has turned out to be a challenging task for reporters to pin down Republican US Senate candidate Linda McMahon on the most pressing national issues of the day. On the issue of extending the Bush tax cuts, McMahon yesterday said she supports the position of Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell—extend all the tax cuts or none. In other words, McConnell and McMahon favor will not cut taxes for the middle class unless the wealthiest Americans keep the windfall handed them by George W. Bush.

McMahon clued people in yesterday as reported by the New Haven Independent’s Paul Bass. Voters of Connecticut—particularly the middle class—should take notice. And for what it’s worth, the McMahon household made out just fine from the Bush tax cuts she wants so badly to preserve.
